I sent Inspector Lipari to this location this morning. He called into our dispatch office to have a truck come with salt and salt the sidewalk. In the meanwhile, Inspector Lipari will be issuing summonses to each location.

The ice patch is coming back and I saw someone slip and fall on it this morning. They need to put ice melt (and keep putting ice melt) or something.

There's clearly a pipe protruding out onto the sidewalk. You can see it in the photos and even on Google Maps street view. Whether this pipe is for drainage (from the snowmelt on the roof) or another reason is unclear. But the culprit is plain and obvious.

As per Inspector Fortunato, this property was called into DPW to have salt truck come on place salt over the area where the ice was. The owner was contacted and a summons was issued.
