Description
This building, on the corner of State and Spring Streets, consistently fails to clear snow and ice from the Spring Street sidewalk. This has been going on for years, and this winter has begun with, already, a packed layer of ice on Spring Street, with no effort having been made to clear the sidewalk or treat the accumulation. Pedestrians are walking in the street to avoid having to walk on the ice - forced to choose between the risk of being hit by a car or falling on the sidewalk because of this owner’s negligence.

Here is a map of the city's sidewalk plow route, where the city is
responsible for plowing & sanding, etc....

If your sidewalk is not on the plow route, then the residents are
responsible to clear it themselves. This reporting number (756-8393) should get faster attention than using See Click Fix, but both will work for reporting
violators...
Residents are allowed some sand & salt. The residential sand &
salt pile is now located at Payson Park next to the ball field. It has a
tent over it. Residents can take two 5-gallon pails at a time.
