I’m glad the work is finally commencing. If we were better informed, we would be ranting here.
Thanks anyway for addressing it.

I've been fighting to get this area lit up for years. It's almost criminal of the city for ignoring the issue for so long.

Thank you.
I called earlier today and was told I would get a call back once you hear from PSEG
I’m still waiting for the call

I just spoke to Diane from RRC and was assured that she will reach to PSEG to resolve this issue.
The line above being inserted to keep a log of all the efforts being made and to ensure people in charge are held accountable for.

Thank You, Waseem.
Have them also look at the ticket I created for St. Paul and Kennedy intersection.

Waseem,
They installed the poles on November 2nd. However, only one light is working. For the second night, the light is not lit. The pole in front of 3168 Kennedy blvd is not working
Brand new poles were installed with the light fixtures but only one is working?
Really? Is anyone from the city even following up with PSEG? Anyone checking their/contractor's work?
Who's the project manager working with PSEG? Please provide direct contact.

It's crazy.
New pole but no working light?

Hi XP,
Your message just came now. I have entered 3168 JFK BLvd into My Accounts at PSE&G website to investigate.

Waseem,
Please do not close this ticket as most of the update has been to this ticket.
even though two tickets are open this is the one with all the updates for past year+
I don't think there's harm in keeping this open
What's the update for the 2nd non-working (brand new) pole. That's more important.

Hi Waseem
I saw a PSE&G truck today and saw a technician working earlier this afternoon (Pic. Attached). We appreciate the effort being made but the light is still it working as of this evening. I’m not sure what the technician’s findings were but I suspect the wiring was never done properly.
Please reach out to the PSEG or the contractor who just recently put the poles in.
Again, thank you for being on top of this. It’s approaching two years since we originally opened the ticket. The efforts are genuine but the contractors are not doing their job. Like I said, it’s been two years and thousands of dollars in public money yet no results.
Perhaps, city can go after contractor for not doing the job.
Thank you again Waseem.
