Thanks for the report. Due to the danger to cyclists, this issue is being submitted to Oakland as a "TOP 10" for immediate attention under an agreement with the Bike East Bay Hazard Elimination program.

The City of Oakland Call Center addressed this issue on 03/30/2018, service request #771122.

This was not actually fixed. A worker literally just set the broken piece of wood in a straight line and then left. It currently looks exactly as it has for the last two years.

As JPC said, this is not actually fixed. Please *fix* this hazardous corner.

This damage and hazard has NOT been repaired. It's very disappointing and frustrating that this thread repeatedly gets closed when no solution has actually been enacted. Why was this thread closed? What actions did the city take?

They did some work on this a couple days ago. It is better than before, but still looks like the whole thing is resting on some rotten wood. A car was parked on it yesterday and it looked precarious. There is still a metal hazard sign up, but it will surely be hit by a car within a few days.
