I hope your issue with the boat doesn't cause the boat owner an $80 parking ticket. He's a very friendly hard working guy who keeps his house and grounds in great condition. Wouldn't it be easier to be neighborly and just ring his bell and ask him about his boat storage plans? I live down the street and don't find any inconvenience when driving by and I notice he obeys alternate side of the street parking rules too.

Glad someone posted. This is definitely an unsafe situation. It takes up so much of the road that only one car can pass at a time. This is extra dangerous at night. Added to that, when turning right from Barnet, you cannot see around boat for oncoming cars. And when crossing on foot it so large you cannot see if cars are coming in order to safely cross.

Can the City provide an update on this issue? It has been open for more than a week.

I apologize to all that have been inconvenienced with the boat, I was unaware of your concerns as no one had said anything to me. I would have gladly moved the boat the first time anybody had respectfully said something to ME about it.
I also was unaware that even if it's a registered vehicle with a license plate that it's not supposed to be parked on the street.
I am very neighborly and respectful of others and help out many times even if not asked so I would have definitely taking care of this issue right away.
I had brought the boat back to winterize it and get it ready for storage but unfortunately working 7 days a week time is limited. I will rectify it this weekend.
