As the City of Pinellas Park Public Works crews finish clearing storm debris from roadways, a second phase of recovery will soon begin to collect residential storm debris. Residents should place their debris in sorted piles at the public right-of-way for curbside collection by debris crews. Residents are asked to sort by type and in separate piles. Household trash, Brush and Construction/Building debris. Thank you, Utility Building Division

Good luck. We cant even get the garbage truck guy to pick up anything on Saturday. This is getting old. I pay for garbage to be picked up and they say they only pick up larger stuff on Wednesdays. Thats a joke

Sally.... I feel for you but you're trying to move a mountain. It isn't going to happen in one day. You just need to keep chipping away until things improve. Remember the "Ant Song!" "Just what makes that little old ant, Think he'll move that rubber tree plant. Anyone knows an ant, can't,Move a rubber tree plant." What we do need is better communications between City Hall and it's citizens. For many of us who had been through it before we knew that there wouldn't be a garbage pick-up last Saturday but for new people to Pinellas Park, especially many of our culturally diverse citizens, they did not know and their can's were out in the street right up to the storm. It would be nice if we had a reverse call system from City Hall to all of Pinellas Park citizens for these kind of important announcements.
