Street light at busy corner goes out at night, apparently after midnight, causing near complete darkness.
Security issues are increasing but the immediate concern is that cars are not able to see the corner and are missing the turn in the darkness. They are sometimes screeching their brakes to stop and sometimes miss the turn. Other cars coming from Heaton Park Drive fail to see the stop sign and continue straight until they meet the homes / lawns of neighbors. It is not infrequent for cars to miss the turn or the stop sign late at night and drive towards the house/onto the lawn. Better lighting is needed at night. Why is the street light turning off at night when we need it???
