Shouldn't you notify the police department?

Thank you for notification of the trash concerns at NE PARK along NE 13th Ave. By email we have forwarded this request to Parks Operations to have their staff investigate and address under reference number 8349. We have also forwarded a copy to the Gainesville Police Department. If you desire to speak with that office please call 393-8179.

The Gainesville Police Department is called to issues over here all the time. Every officer has made it clear there is nothing they can do about it because of the local laws in place surrounding the homeless. I have video of a woman who refused to leave my property after hours, yelled and cussed me, when the cops came she lunged at the cop while smoking a blunt and clearly drunk, stopped traffic while jay-walking across the street to the kangaroo and the cop standing there said he couldn't do anything. I have made several calls to GPD. GPD will not or can not do anything. Either way, THE ISSUE IS NOT GETTING RESOLVED!
