It isn't just the front of this property but sides and in the rear. Lawn has not been mowed this entire year.
The property is becoming a health hazard to those living near it.

This should not be allowed.

This pile has grown substantially since I first reported this. Why is this allowed. Can the city not force the property owner to clean up this mess. It has to be a breeding ground for mosquitoes and rats, in addition to being an eyesore and distasteful. When one property owner gets by with this, others will take the same attitude. Let's have some pride in our city and our property. How do we get the City to take some action?

The old furniture and demolition debris has been removed but there is still a significant pile of yard waste (limbs, etc) piled up. Would be nice if the City would make a in-person check on this property and encourage property owner to properly dispose of this. It is not prepared properly for the normal yard waste pick-up

We have duplicate complaints for this location, so this particular complaint was not acknowledged. Staff checked this location previously but we're asking them to check again before closing this issue. We'll post an update when we have one. Thanks!

Our inspector investigated this issue and found violations. The deadline date is 10/23/17. Thank you.

Was the entire property inspected? Historically the back side of the building and sides are far worse than the front.

I ride by that property every single day. Yesterday the pile on the side of yard had grown again and include a broken desk. I do not think this case should be closed until an inspector goes out there and confirms proper cleanup has been done. Why is the property owner exempt from the regulations?

Maybe you could explain if "your inspector" has an ongoing case with this address why does the situation remain unchanged. It seems to have gone on over 3 months but as of yesterday when I drove past the address the pile of debris remains unchanged. Still there. Still a health hazard for those of us who live in the area(I less than a block away). What is the process, and what does inspector has an on going case mean? ?That it is being addressed and will change or just something that is expected to be accepted in the neighborhood?

I agree with laws/humphrey. It is unclear how the process works and when we as neighbors and property taxpayers can expect a resolution.

The excess debris was still there on Saturday. What is the issue in requiring the property owner to get this issue resolved.

In response to laws/humphrey - this is not acceptable to other property owners in the neighborhood. And the City has regulations indicating this is a NUISANCE.

Rode by this address yesterday, everything is the same. What can the city do to get this place cleaned up?

Obviously the city cannot or will not act.

Then what is the purpose of having these ordinances or having SeeClickFix.com available to citizens? Why are some property owners exempt from complying with ordinances? This is a multi-family dwelling that needs to clean-up it’s act. Surely the city council members and re-elected mayor can get better results.

I sent a copy of this report to Kay Crowder and Russ Stephenson to see if we can get some action on this property now.

That is likely the only way any might get done and that is likely 50-50. The building is a
nuisance and is sliding toward a ghetto like profile. Its a shame but blame squarely rest
with owner.

Debris by roadside continues to exist. This case is not resolved.
