The STOP BAR at some intersections is located as much as 50' back from the edge of the cross street due to the large radius of the curbing. In these instances it is necessary (and legally acceptable) to: 1. Make a complete stop at the STOP BAR/STOP sign. 2. Proceed forward and make a complete stop at the crosswalk (whether marked or unmarked). 3. Proceed forward and make a complete stop at the edge of the cross street. The bushes and fence referenced have been found to be outside of the visibility triangle (in the past) as defined in the City Ordinances; however, we will inspect these again to make sure they are in compliance.

Do not bother. I have complained many times about that intersection and witnessed first hand near accidents. 78th Ave may as well be a drag race strip. People go 60 mph down that wrong and by this very dangerous intersection. Speed bumps and or 4 way stop sign should be installed immediately but won't happen. I avoid using that intersection for that reason.
