Description
This utility pole is bending over the road under the weight of whatever those four large white cylinders are on top if it. There is not another pole or anything bracing it. It looks scary, like it might fall down!

Transformers. Step down transformers to be exact. I live a few doors down from this pole and agree that this looks dangerous and should be fixed.

This was also reported as See Click Fix issue ID 3503176 back 6/20/2017. That issue was closed by a City Admin on 6/21 with the comment "This type of request would need to be directly reported to DTE at (800) 477-4747. Thank you".
I called DTE at the time. They said they would investigate and gave me confirmation number 28643362. DTE's status has been "Investigation / Restoration in Progress" since that time.
I called DTE today. They said that they agreed that the situation in potentially dangerous, that they had sent a crew out to do some tree trimming, and the next step is for a different crew to come out and work on the pole. Because of recent thunder storm damage and outages elsewhere in SE Michigan, they don't expect to get back to this issue until late next week.

Wow, Jeff, that's amazing. Thank you for all the info! I'm glad you followed up with DTE. Taking the transformers off that pole was a vast improvement.
I'd close this ticket, but I don't seem to have the permission to do so.
