Description
Foxtails have not been addressed at Temescal Creek Park. properly. They have not been removed, simply cut down. They are now blowing all over the park and are spread out even more. They are now everywhere, not just in the grass, but on the sidewalk and the kids playground. They're still just as dangerous to our dogs and kids as they were before if not more. This SCF issue was closed. This issue is not resolved and SCF will not let me reopen it. https://seeclickfix.com/issues/3419222-foxtails-are-taking-over-temescal-creek-park-danger

The city of Emeryville is supposed to be responsible for the upkeep of this park, but they don't seem to know what they're doing. I've only ever seen one person actually trying to remove the weeds, and keep the park looking like it did when we spent all that money for a renovation. The other workers simply come through with mowers and trimmers and knock things down, then leave. This just spreads the fox tails and weed seeds around, making things worse. The dried plants laying around, coupled with the shredded redwood mulch, eucalyptus trees, and park that's hard to reach by firefighters, is a hazard. One cigarette butt thrown out, and the whole neighborhood could go up in flames!
What are we really paying for if most of those guys don't know what to do, and/ or don't care? Maybe we need to bring in new people that will try to do the job right?
