Description

I received a ticket for parking on Duplex Avenue for more than the 1 hour time allowed. The officer either intentionally lied, or made an error in logging the time of the offense. His ticket was issued when I was still at home. It indicates that I was parked from 11:37am to 12:48pm on November 2. I have an email that I sent to my brother at 11:35am the same morning (2 minutes before the time on his ticket started). I sent the email, got ready to leave, drove to pick up my friend and then drove to the location to park. This would have taken at least 10-15 minutes. It would have been impossible to drive the distance in 2 minutes.
I took the email as proof to the parking ticket office and they refused to deal with it, They said I had to go to court. How does this make sense. It is a waste of my time and the court time. I am sending you a photo of the actual ticket.
Please help me to avoid this unneccessary court appearance. This is a perfect example of why our traffic courts are totally backlogged.
