Description
The baseball diamond at Hunt Park needs some attention. See photo. #1: the chain link at the bottom center of the backstop needs to be pulled down and reattached. #2: the limbs that have grown up through the right side of the backstop should be removed. #3: the rock that is behind the right side of the backstop should be moved or removed. #4: there is a low spot running from home plate where water collects after each rain that should be filled in or raised.

"I am more than happy to volunteer to help with some of the "repairs." That way, some of them to could be done by "opening day,", i.e., this Spring."

In addition to actually getting the backstop fixed, maybe we should actually get out there and use it, too! Anyone up for a little softball now and then?
From Bobby Frank, 1h ago:
Living next to Hunt Park, I have noticed that it is rarely, and I mean almost never, used. However, the backstop and diamond are already there and can be fixed up relatively inexpensively and easily, so hope parks and rec does so.

We would use the diamond much more often if it were in better shape. There are no clear base paths, depressions where the batters box would be, along with the issues mentioned above!
