the chain link fence along Raleigh Road looks terrible. It's broken in several spots, rusted and is not generally appealing to look at. The City has already spent millions across the road for the new Washington Terrace area and is planning to spend millions more on New Bern Road. Is there something that could be done about the chainlink eyesore? Ideally a replacement with something more attractive would add value to the street and surrounding neighborhood. At the very least, repairing (or getting rid of it altogether) the broken sections and perhaps a fresh coat of paint would help.
