It has now gotten to the very dangerous level as parents of Rumney Marsh Academy students fly down Tapley Ave to drop off their children at the back of the school. We were told right before the school was built that this would not be allowed to happen. Now the parents start parking all down the bottom of Tapley Ave starting at 1:30 to pick up their children making the area a huge gridlock and taking parking spots away from the residents. The speeding cars down the street is ridiculous. Students trying to walk to school have to be very aware as parents speed down the street with many of them texting or on their cell phone. This is a very dangerous situation and not once have we seen a police car in the area as these people double park and speed. Hoping something can be done as soon as possible.
