I've contacted the Public Works Department and they are going to trim/remove the branches that are overhanging the road/public right-of-way.

You're quite welcome! In this particular case, it is the City's responsibility to maintain the tree that overhangs the right-of-way. The property owner is only responsible for trimming and maintaining any part of the tree that is physically on his property. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

So the part of the tree that hangs over the neighbors property…is that his responsibility or would that be the neighbors since it is hanging on their property. Thanks, again! (1st time owning a house so still learning how the codes works)

Any part of a tree that hangs onto a neighboring property is the neighboring property owner's responsibility to trim if it is perceived as a nuisance. In this particular circumstance, the property owner is only responsible for maintaining what is directly on his/her property.

I am the park manager at Park Royale Mobile home community in Pinellas park. There is a fence that runs along a the water ditch but is in the back yard of a home in Autumn run.. We trim our side of the trees however the trees are growing so big the fence is bowing and may break soon. Is this a city owned fence or is it the homeowners responsibility in Autumn Run???

The property owner has trimmed the overgrown portion of the tree that is growing above the sidewalk. Public Works will maintain the rest as soon as they have the available time to do so.
