I reported this to "SeeClickFix", waited a week, and finally called the appropriate department directly. They hadn't been notified of the problem. A city crew arrived the next day to replace the light. Under "Nearby Issues" I see that nothing has been done to correct the "Large fall hazard near Ballard Community Center". Just what exactly do you do? Reporting an issue to "SeeClickFix" sounds good, but seems to be a dead end.

I hope our tax dollars aren't paying for this apparent do-nothing site (though I'm sure they are). What a total waste of time and money. Check out the date a neighbor posted the "Large fall hazard near Ballard Community Center" and then walk by the area at the corner of 28th Ave NW and NW 60th Street. Still looks just like the picture in the original posting doesn't it? As I mentioned above, in my own case of the street light, a week after I posted on SeeClickFix the appropriate department still hadn't been notified. My direct call was the first they'd heard of the problem. For my money this site/"service" is just a worthless sham.
