It's been a month. Has anyone *looked* at the railing? It's on a sidewalk used everyday by kids going to and from Clemons Crossing Elementary - on a busy road and over a creek. This is a safety issue.

Has this been resolved???? It's been over 2 years. Why is everyone passing it off to each other and nothing getting done??

No! This has NOT been fixed. Someone wrapped some tape around some of the worst breaks, but that has worn through or disappeared, so the situation is pretty much unchanged.

I went out and looked at it just now. All the rusted and broken joints are still there and getting worse.

I dropped an e-mail to County Councilwoman Jung's office to try and get a movement on this.

I also find the Clown at DPW with the Clown profile picture, inappropriate, unprofessional, and offensive. It's disturbing and should not be associated with or a County Official.

I apologize on behalf of DPW for your frustration and for the inappropriate profile photo. I am looking into both issues and am hoping to share additional information with you shortly -- Lisa Brightwell, Howard County Department of Pubic Works, Customer Service Representative.

Howard County Bureau of Highways advises that the project is expected to be funded after July 2019. I hope this information is helpful.

The news that it's EXPECTED to be funded is only somewhat helpful. It being scheduled would much more helpful, considering I reported this over two years ago, and someone claimed "we waiting for a cert. welder to come and repair rail" two years ago.

It's done!! And it looks nice, too. Thank you.
