Thank you for reporting this issue to us via SeeClickFix St. Pete. We will forward the details you have provided to the appropriate City department so that they may investigate and take any necessary action. We appreciate your help! Sincerely, Mayor's Action Center
The cover completely collapsed today. I cut and covered it with plywood to prevent anyone stepping and falling in the hole. I know it has only been a week but it seems to be a serious liability to leave a hole in the public access area open?
The City does not handle issues regarding utilities, they are the responsibility of the company who placed them. In this case our Community Services Representative visited the site, determined it was a Frontier/Verizon box and forwarded the information to them for repair. The City is unable to service this issue, but we will forward the information back to Frontier/Verizon so they are aware it has not been fixed. You can also reach out directly to Frontier by calling 800-584-3384 or reaching out to a local office. Sincerely, Mayor's Action Center
