Please report this issue to 311 and the complaint will be forwarded to the Department of Buildings. If you provide Community Board 14 with a copy of the Service Request Number, we can follow up on your behalf with the Dept. of Buildings regarding this issue. Thank you.
Still there was reported to 311 long ago nothing done but will do again and make sure to record the complaint number to them. As now there are at least 30 trash bags in the yard as well
Still a rotting abandoned vehicle surrounded by large garbage bags on Foster Avenue. A hideous sight that nobody is dealing with. What are we supposed to do. Call 311 again?
Please call 311 and provide the community board office with the SRN #. This vehicle is parked on privately owned property. City agencies may not be able to issue violations for a vehicle parked on private property.
Yes I think all the neighbors know it's private property. But wait a minute...anyone can let a vehicle rot in their yard and leave huge piles of garbage there too? This is really not against any laws?!
Please report the issue again to 311. The Department of Sanitation has been notified and will issue additional violations to the property owner as warranted. The Department of Buildings has classified the issue as a priority D complaint. Filing additional 311 reports will improve the chances of a higher DOB priority issuance. Provide the community board with the Service Request Numbers received from 311 and we will follow up again with the Buildings Department.
Still there in eyes view the useless community board does nothing it must be one of their friends and nothing ever done hopefully someone will plant a in registered van in their neighbors yard for them and their family to view daily
FYI - Department of Buildings Report: Last Inspection: 03/15/2014 - - BY BADGE # 0363
Disposition: 03/19/2014 - I2 - NO VIOLATION WARRANTED FOR COMPLAINT AT TIME OF INSPECTION / Comments: AT THIS LOCATION THERE ARE COMMERCIAL STORES AND SIDEWALK NO YARDS OR ILLEGAL PARKING NOTED. If you do not agree with this finding, you will have to report the issue again. There was only one complaint made by a citizen regarding the van in the past three years. This issue must be reported more than one time if you want a City Agency to take action, especially if it involves private property. The Department of Sanitation has been notified, has removed the bags of garbage and will issue additional violations to the property owner as warranted. As posted previously, the Department of Buildings has classified the issue as a priority D complaint. Filing additional 311 reports will improve the chances of a higher DOB priority issuance. Now that DOB has inspected and issued their findings, you will have to make a new complaint. Provide the community board with the Service Request Numbers received from 311 and we will follow up again with the Buildings Department. We are unable to assist you if you choose only to post negative comments here rather than calling 311 directly. These posted online comments do not go to 311. You must call 311.
I guess at the next election the members of the useless community board should be voted out of office useless. The van is NOT registered. nO plates and is parked on someone's property visible from the side walk check with the city lawyers this is illegal in buildings code. I will campaign for others to run for this district you are all useless or receiving funding from this individual to leave them alone...
Apparently, whoever reported this issue to 311 provided incorrect address. We reported it again as 644 Marlborough Road and will post an update when it becomes available. Thank you.
That is NOT commercial property the buildings department inspector did not want to be bothered I guess everyone reading this needs to call 311 and complain to building department as the local community board is a joke and waste of tax dollars. The van is parked on Private property across from the grocery store foster ave ....shameful community board ..
This van has been there for years and unless the president lives next to no gives a dam I am sure many community members have come and gone but if you are still in office drive down foster avenue and imagine your mother in the car coming to your home for the first time and says I didn't know you lived in such a bad Neighborhood
All our elected officials cash that pay check and drive around this mess
