Description

there is a middle school on toledo & renforth, high traffic area, but noone seems to care (school main office and teachers, parents, drivers, neighbours, city staff and police):
- renforth is a heaven for speeders (the road is imposible to cross at the times)
- there is no other way for children or adults to cross renforth in this area other than jaywalking:
- no crossing guard
- no pedestrian crossing or crosswalk
- no speed limit on renforth
- no 'school nearby' traffic sign
- not even a simle 'stop' sign
1. why an accident must happen for someone to wake up?
2. why nobody cares?
3. who is responbile for this negligence?

I personally drive my daughter to this school , it's really a very dangerous situation because student are taking a risk every day they cross the street. One day I saw a good Samaritan who stopped his car in the middle of the street, jumped out of his car to assist few students cross the street. This is absolutely not acceptable, there MUST be a stop light/sign, and a sign for the speed limit...

few months ago I have witnessed a boy crossing Toledo rd. almost hit by a car turning from Renforth ....because he was short and hidden between stopped cars he was hardily noticable...fortunately, the driver was not speeding and was able to stop the car just in front of the boy....a very scary situation where all parties involved were very distraught including me...please act on this ASAP

they do not want to put even a simple Stop sign on the intersection...I wonder why the parents and the school is not involved...very disappointing

I have been using the intersection few times a day. At times, it is very difficult to cross it. A stop sign is the simplest, cheapest and effective way to solve the problem. Why this is not done as of yet is beyond me.
