Didn't even know this alley had a name. Yuck. What a sick looking road! Why doesn't the City tell the owner to make repairs??? This makes sense if you think about how the City demands people keep their house, fence, sidewalk, etc. maintained. Private property is private property but maintenance is maintenance. Does someone have to get hurt before the City shows up?

I don't believe this street is privately-owned?
I understand it is to be kept clear for use by the Fire Dept?

The City put up the No Parking etc. signs a few years ago, as it was being used as a car park and dumping ground.

It has certainly been overlooked by Google Maps and even the City of NY's map makers for decades!?
I believe the building facing CIA was a Brooklyn Mayor's residence at one point?
