Thank you very much. As an employee of Pinellas County Utilities I understand how vital our infrastructure is and the challenges faced trying to maintain this infrastructure. However, the 2 storm drains in front of our home are not adequate during heavy rain events and unfortunately, our house sits in the lowest area of the street. It is possible that storm drains on adjoining streets may be inadequate as well. My husband has sent photos from previous events, but on Saturday, June 11, the accumulation of water rose to severe levels and we fear that a future severe tropical storm or hurricane will put our house under water. Thank you again for your attention to this matter.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Unfortunately, the issue has not been resolved. A short downpour on 6-18-16 caused extensive flooding of the street again and came up and over onto the property because the 2 storm drains on the entire street (in front of our home) could not handle the rain. Obviously, the issue is not just the inadequacy of the storm drains, but perhaps the pipes in the entire neighborhood need to be TV'd. There are storm drains that adjoin from neighboring streets and are no doubt blocked. We will continue to report this problem because it is ongoing. Thank you.
