Why are there two telephone poles in the sidewalk path in the first place?

Great question Mark. I have no idea why two poles are needed. The two poles and lack of pavement prevent anyone from passing through forcing all pedestrians into the street.

Jeff, can you tell me if Georgia Power set a new pole and removed the sidewalk or when the sidewalk was removed?

Unfortunately, I cannot answer those questions. I can tell you that it appears there was intention to pave the sidewalk given the forming boards are there. The house was built in 2012.

I have spoken to two representatives from AT&T and Comcast. Both stated that it will be corrected soon.
I will check on the status in a few weeks.

Just wanted to check in with you on the status of the sidewalk. Neither Comcast or AT&T have corrected the two poles or sidewalk issue.

I will contact both companies again.

Still no changes on the sidewalk issue. Can you provide an update?

Any updates here? Getting even worse since storms keep washing rock away. Still a safety issue and seems like a quick fix for the city.
