Description

One of two schools either Yeshiva Yaphne at 7946 Wavell OR
Ecole Mosaique 5621 McMurray has very loud bells. They go off several times each day and can be heard all over CSL. I live blocks away in a high rise and can hear the bells even with the windows closed. Why must they be so loud?

The City has advised the Marguerite Bourgouis School Board several times about this, emanating from Ecole de la Mosaique on Guelph. Time for another reminder I'd say...

Maybe it is time for a fine - why should they be allowed to annoy half the city? It is not necessary to have the bell so loud. What if every school in CSL did the same thing?

Our Public Works team has looked at the issue but it is not something our department can fix because we have no controls within the schools.
