Description
There is a "no truck" sign posted on the south side of the bldg to not turn right out of the parking lot. Huge vendor trucks continuously come west on 49th Ave N from Red Mesa. Also, the cut through traffic from the restaurant is staggering. Can we please get a sign posted for no right turns out of the parking lot.

We have over 300+ cars that come down our street. This I know for sure because we had a traffic study done and had a speed hump put in. But it hasn't stopped the amount of cars that come through.
Thanks for responding and I anticipate hearing back from you.

We have confirmed that when the site was approved in 1977 there was no condition impose to restrict right-turns exiting onto 49th Street. So, we are not able to implement this restriction as requested.
I have however confirmed that we do not have any recent traffic speed or volume studies on 49th Avenue N west of this site. I will therefore schedule a 24-hour study and with this data we will be able to confirm the amount of heavy trucks, vehicle volume and speeding. Should the 24-hour average operating speeds exceed 35 MPH it would qualify for speed humps.
I will post the results once completed which could take a couple of weeks.

Seems to me that conditions have changed since 1977. The restaurant has become much more popular over the years and the amount of people that have moved to the area has increased. How can we ignore the growth in this area? Maybe the rules need to be rewritten....
This is a real problem for our street.
