Description
City Sanitation and/or Recycling truck jumping curve on corner and running over grass and sidewalk, breaking concrete landscape edgers, plant and very close to hitting fence. Garbage truck has often run over curve coming out of alley way, running over grass and sidewalk, but this time truck (I think it was recycling truck) went even wider and ran over retaining concrete edging breaking it in two places. Our fence is set back several yards from sidewalk (beyond what's required) to allow good visibility on the corner and the driver also almost hit it! Ran over adjacent concrete edging there too breaking it (have other photos although it is hard to see in photos). Literally came within inches of clipping fence. Tire tracks on sidewalk and street also show errant path. There is really no excuse for this as there is no parking across street. Drivers have plenty of room.

The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
