Description
There has been an orange hazard "fence' at the corner of Sweetbriar and OLD Lake Jeanette for MONTHS, separating the new sidewalk from a deep ditch next to the road. The fence is falling down, and the ditch is grown so tall with weeds that we can't even see if a car is coming, when we pull out of the street. Additionally, someone is going to run off the road into the ditch. We have been waiting patiently for this to be fixed, and we are running out of patience. We pay taxes, and we want this hazard fixed. Whatever is the problem FIX IT!!!!!!

Terry, THANK YOU!!!!! I just came by there and saw that the weeds were gone, and I can now see getting out onto the street!! I ASSUMED the city finally got to work, but since they didn't, I REALLY appreciate that YOU did!! Yes, I know this has been reported several times, but all we get is a new orange fence. If it's not the city's responsibility, whose is it?? If it's the property owner's, then the city needs to let them know!! Because something tragic is going to happen... a car will run off the road or a biker will drive into that ditch. This is the ONLY stretch along this road that has a ditch, and because of that, no one is looking for a hazard of that type. You are so right... PROACTIVE is what we need.
Thanks again, Terry!
