This issue has been reported at least three times, beginning Aug 13. (See green markers on the Tell HoCo map.) Given the possibility that we could have a hurricane bearing down on us on the next week or so, is there anything we can do to speed up the process? It's been "acknowledged", "investigated", and "assigned". It would be awesome if we could get it to "completed" and "closed" before the deluge hits us, if Joaquin heads this direction.

This is still a problem! It's a little frustrating that the issue was "acknowledged" and then, apparently, completely forgotten.

I also live on Chatham Rd. and this does need to be addressed! I have also sent request in the past and I would see the county trucks within a few days. Summer is upon us and the smell is BAD!

In an article about the EC flooding from 7/30, it stated the following: The first report of flooding near Ellicott City was in the Chatham area west of downtown at 8:01pm.

My guess is that it had to be related to this report, but I wasn't in the Chatham area during the storm. When will this be resolved.

Yes, flooding was occurring in Chatham at that time. Our dry bed creek as well crested over the culvert headwall on our property, 3117. Water had cleared the banks on both sides of the culvert dividing North Chatham and was flowing down both sides of the roadway.

The County refuses to maintain the riprap area.
