I'd say this is a problem that the city is liable for since sidewalks are city property!! I hate to be the bully BUT Do we have to call channel 7 or 2 to action to get thus fixed here

City Capital Improvement Funding was allocated to repair the stairway parallel to the this one, connecting Wallace and 14th Avenue. And some City money is spent on yearly basis to repair stairways. Contact Jason Patton, Pedestrian and Bicycle Program Manager (510) 238-7049 as first point of contact to understand how the funds are allocated and prioritized. I think you could make an argument that this should be high priority. I understand this stairway functions as the only access to a handful of residential units, so for many people there is no alternate route.
