I realize that the light gives priority to the traffic flow on 13. but whomever set it up OBVIOUSLY does not have to exit this sub via this route daily or multiple times per day ( one of only 3 and the only one that goes in this direction.) This light has been recently made SMART ( relative term) I have sat on both Champine and St Margaret trying to enter 13 mile or cross 13 mile at many different hours and many different traffic flows and the result is the same. If you are on either Champine or St Margarete YOU WAIT and WAIT and WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT and when the light FINALLY turns green you can maybe make it thru the intersection before it turns RED again!!!!! OBVIOUSLY whomever set up this nonsense does not LIVE around here NOR do they have to tolerate sitting at that light everyday to try and exit or enter your subdivision!!! MAYBE THAT should be a requirement BEFORE you install "SMART" lighting that isn't very smart!! IF you had to use that route daily your specifications and adherence to generic data might be swayed a TAD and you might adjust the lighting to be more accommodating to both the "high flow" AND the local residents! Currently you have completely missed the mark and with Fuel prices rising and local residents being considered less and less....it might be time for a change!! if not to the timing of the lights possibly to the team that administers and sets them up!! People that LIVE in the immediate area should be prioritized equally to main street traffic flow!!! The whole reason that light was installed was so folks that LIVE here could safely exit the sub at least that is what they TOLD us when they put the thing up......it was NOT installed to keep traffic flowing on 13, all that is necessary for that is NO LIGHT AT ALL!! FIX IT!!!
