I live on an adjacent street and didn't hear a thing from this house. There are far more important things to use the forum to address. I understand lots of people like to sleep in, but I see nothing wrong with someone using their morning to do a little yard work. If you've ever taken care of a property, you may already know that's not something you want to do in the middle of the day during the summer months. In addition, many landscaping companies start work on clients' properties just as early and their equipment is often louder.
I live in the neighborhood and agree, I was woken up to the noise of a lawn mower, maybe weed whacker, at 6 AM. This went on for about an hour - much like the original post suggested. I do not think that it is unreasonable to post an issue like this - since it is against code and no one should have to deal with being woken up be neighbors this early.
p.s. sbeachx75 .... I'(m) told it's the perfect curve. ..... is that true?
If it's a noise complaint, call the police. This truly isn't the proper forum for the city to "fix" noisiness, especially from neighbors. Pot holes? Street signs? Vandalism? Yes. Noise complaints? Not so much.
Ps- mdb83, I'm not entirely sure what that even means, but I suppose if you want it to be?
Not sure why sbeachx75 thinks it's ok to tell other people what to post on here. Also defending code breakers is a really weird thing to do on a public forum
FYI I have no my own house with a 3rd of an acre to take care of, and I would never do yard work at 6am because I have respect for my neighbors...its clear you do not sbeachx75. Looking at your profile you don't even report issues, you simply comment on other peoples issues.
You don't know me, so please stop jumping to conclusions and chastising me as if I'm the one being complained about here. I have plenty of respect for my neighbors, thank you. Just because my opinion differs from yours in that I don't think 6 AM is too early for this kind of work (regardless of what noise ordinances say–which, by the way, I'm allowed to follow and disagree with), doesn't mean I partake in the practice. The only reason I'm up at 6 AM is to shower, eat breakfast, and leave for work. I commented on an issue; that's what the comment section is for. You don't have to agree with me.

Your Reddit post. It was enlightening. That's...all.
But glad this is resolved, and agree, it will make more sense to call the cops as it's going on.
