Description
Traffic heading on the northbound side is given a green arrow to turn left on Shepard St. The sequencing to then allow cars to continue southbound should be more spaced with that arrow turning red because cars turning left always get caught in front drivers creating very dangerous situations

The arrow was added recently in response to driver complaints. Before we installed the arrow, northbound drivers did not know when the southbound green came on. Today, we have the arrows, which gives the northbound driver this information.
After the green arrow goes off, the yellow arrow is on for 3 seconds and then there is a 1 second safety period before the green light is shown to southbound drivers. Both are engineering standard.
