Description

The intersection at Guilford Road and Old Columbia Road is regulated only by a stop sign on Guilford Road. At rush hour, particularly evening rush hour between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m., this interchange becomes very congested, and the elevation change and trees in the median make visibility very difficult. While a traffic signal may be unnecessary, I believe a traffic circle at Guilford and Old Columbia would be a welcome improvement to this interchange.
