Description
Called zoning, they never returned my call.
this person has built a wooden arbor onto his house connecting it to the property dividing fence (his fence). .along side my yard. It is about 1 foot above the fence and wired with electricity and some blue tubing. I want to know if there should be set back for this.

Would you like to live next to that? What does that do to property value when ready to sell?

top of his house roof that look into my yard and front door, could you please send the code person out again to see this (new) structure and show me the definition of this in codes that would make this structure legal.
Also he has a business where he builds speakers in this extremely small area and continually turns them extremely high then lowers them reaching pulsing decimals that affect our health. This goes on all evening 8 feet from our window, and into our entire living space . He threatened us and said that he can stop our heart with the sound that his machine makes - that he can tune it to a very low decimal and no one would even know what caused our heart to stop. I would think that this is police matter and a zoning matter.

Update from the Codes Compliance Department: a case has been opened and is being investigated for the arbor construction at this reported address. Any further updates or action will be handled by the Codes department. To track the status of this case, or to find contact information for the assigned investigator, click here:

Any other allegations of illegal activity such as noise ordinance violations would need to be reported to the SPPD by calling the non-emergency number, 727-893-7780, while the offense is occurring.
Other complaints like invasions of privacy or property line disputes (ie. tree trimming) are civil matters and would need to be taken up with an attorney as the City would not be able to get involved.

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you, MAC
