We have, numerous times. Police just came out and we were told of it doesn't leave there property then nothing they can do. Problem it is doesn't leave there property till you walk by with your dog then it charges onto the sidewalk. So basically until it bites someone there nothing that can be done.

Call the police. When the police arrive walk outside with your dog. The police will now see happens when someone walks by with a dog.

It's not out all the time, just couple times a day. So only encounter it every couple weeks when we're outside and it's loose. Will be keeping the video ready in the future

When you say charges to sidewalk is this in aggressive manner? I commented on this issue last time it was posted. If you feel like this dog will bite a can of mace will solve him from charging you again. Mace will not cause harm it will just irritate.

I guess my comment hit home. It has now vanished. As I said Police chief and city manager said they would look into it. Has been going on for over 2 years with 2 different large dogs. I said it may be a relative of someone because I do not know of any others getting away with this??

I have seen this dog loose several times as well. I know that it has attacked other dogs. I am frightened to walk by with my dogs and always cross to the other side of the street but it's still scary, and it just doesn't feel right to be afraid to walk your dogs in your own neighborhood. Tony should suggest to city council that you should carry a can of mace if you want to walk on Washington St.

This has been going on for years. Police chief and city manager said they would look into it. Must be their relatives because nothing has ever been done. Two nights this week have been woken up about 2:30 to loud voices at their yard. I have hearing aids (not in at that time) and it still gets me up. What ever happened to the leash law or noise laws. Just for us that put up with it and pay the taxes.

I can not believe this issue is still open. It's been posted more than once that city officials and the PD has been contacted with no results. It appears to me that you poster's in this neighbor hood should take care of it yourself. There's a simple solution to your problem, Get The MACE! The postal services uses mace for the same situation. You will not get arrested or any trouble. Maybe if the home owner loves his dog he will keep control of the dog when he see's how much discomfort the mace causes his dog. That's your hood to take control you should not have to be feared when you walking on Washington St. You pay taxes to, This dog owner does not own that street.
