Garbage pickup on Ormond St in Albany has been very noisy; last week the truck's breaks sounded like a horn beeping at each house it stopped at in the lovely wee hours of dawn. And this week, for at least the 2nd or 3rd week in a row, the garbage bin has not been fully emptied, the material is not stuck, but it remains in the can. This week the can was centered just outside of our driveway and actually blocking one lane of the road. This is sloppy and dangerous. I understand its likely not a fun job, but I think we can do better as a community to make sure wild animals do not come looking for leftovers and commuters do not have to swerve in the streets because someone couldn't put a bin back on private property vs a public street. There have been many times that, perhaps weather related, these bins (not ours, but neighbor's) are simply rolling around in the street mid day. We would appreciate if someone could look into this and just try a little harder to be courteous of the community.
