Its not just construction speed limit. Its 40 mph untill further notice. If it was construction speed limit it would only be active when they are working. But there is signs saying 40mph inplace of the 50 mph that was up before the construction started. People are still going 50-55mph when they should be going 40mph

The speed limit on Edgewater Drive (35824) is 25mph. The speed of cars using the drive was recently recorded using three portable signs (recorders). The results showed that 20%± of the drivers/vehicles were within the speed limit. Most of Edgewater Drive is in Madison, but I will also send a similar message to Huntsville. I have seenMadison police cars on, or beside, Edgewater Drive. Have any speeding tickets for Edgewater Drive been given during the past year--by Madison police?
