I agree! Cars speed though these intersections, sometimes speeding up when they see pedestrians instead of stopping or even slowing. Adjacent construction doesn’t help visibility, nor do the recent additions of bright yellow signs seem to be helping. It seems people driving through this section of Jersey City eschew all traffic laws.
We need 1) a stop light, stop signs with flashing lights, or 3) a pedestrian yield sign with flashing lights AND formidable speed bumps. Does someone need to be hurt before the city will do anything?
