A stream of water is running down the alley, onto 27th St N, and pooling around drainage at 27th St and 1st Ave N. Every morning for more than a week it is consistently running, so it is definitely not due to rain. It appears to be an irrigation leak.

This reported issue could be identified as a private property owner's responsibility and, as such, would be a potential violation of the municipal property code. The City cannot investigate Code Compliance requests from anonymous sources. On June 29, 2021, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 60 into law, which no longer allows code enforcement officers to investigate anonymous complaints. All code enforcement reports must include the complainant’s personal information, including name and address.
The 2021 law states, “A person designated as a code inspector may not initiate an investigation of a potential violation of a duly enacted code or ordinance by way of an anonymous complaint. A person who reports a potential violation of a code or an ordinance must provide his or her name and address to the governing body of the respective board of county commissioners before an investigation occurs.”
