Description

I work at 1000 Victors Way in Ann Arbor, which is a building where lots of University of Michigan employees work. There is no stoplight or crosswalk at State Street and Briarwood Circle. My bus (#6 bus) lets me off at Briarwood Circle (near State St), and then I have to dangerously cross State Street to get over to Victors Way.

There is an intersection at Briarwood and State where cars are able to turn left onto Briarwood Circle, but there is no stoplight for pedestrians to cross. This is crazy to me. I have a disability, and I have to dodge traffic across this very busy street during rush hour both in the morning and afternoon. The nearest stoplights on either side are a very large distance away. I don't understand why there isn't a simple stoplight or crosswalk at that location when numerous U Michigan employees work on Victors Way and have no way to safely cross State Street when taking a bus.

The field below that asks "What is the issue?" doesn't include an option that is appropriate for this situation. I'm not sure why that is the case, but "Signal Outage" is what I picked since I had to pick something from the drop down options.

I also saw that this issue was reported on your site back in 2019. It's shameful that this issue is still ongoing after all this time. This is a very dangerous situation.
