Good afternoon,
First let me offer our apologies for the extended time it is taking to address the depressions on 31st St South, and also to thank you for the multiple reports on the issues progression. We are aware of, and investigating, below-ground utilities that may be contributing to the development of the depression and have been inspecting their integrity over the past weeks. While there have been smaller, point repairs in the past, we are aware that the current issue is causing a larger disturbance, and therefore a larger repair project is needed. Please know that this project is currently underway, and that formidable planning and consultation is being utilized to address it. The city is working with every department and utility provider that has services buried below this segment of the road, to formulate the best possible plan for the repair of this street and provide long lasting results. We ask that you please refer back here, to See Click Fix, for up-to-date information and notes on the repair progress. Should you have any further questions or comments regarding this project, we ask that you please add them on the opened SCF case, #16168234, rather than creating an additional case. This will help us to monitor and address the issue, as well as your concerns, in the most linear and timely fashion possible. Thank you for your efforts in helping us keep the City of St. Petersburg safe and beautiful.
