Good Morning, The work to repave and create calming structures is ongoing on S. McDonough. I live at 946 S. McDonough. I noticed that, after they lifted the old asphalt and began applying the new asphalt, they had cracked my driveway in two places. This was on February 13 and 14, 2024. I noticed it on February 14, and took these photos. I have additional photos but this system only allows one photo, so I uploaded the broader photo. The corner of both are now broken, with the northern corner of the driveway having a substantial triangle completely broken off, and the other corner having some damage. While I appreciate the repaving, I'm concerned that at the end of the project there will be no repairs of the parts of the street that they left damaged, like mine. I'd like this to be a formal claim for some sort of repair, either by the contractor or the city. I'm available for any questions or the additional photos. Jon Smibert 404-717-2983.
