Description

When the Srate of Michigan or the Road Commission redo a road, they include all new signage. The dpw did replace the signs after I complained. These signs were very old, and regulations require signs replaced every ten yrs or if not in good condition. You don't chop down every tree to avoid trash. The City of Roseville has employees that go out on Gratiot often, at least once a month to pick up trash. The city has been called out in the news for losing so much tree canapoy, and then you do this. You cite drainage, Maple Lane never had a problem with drainage before, and being as the area that was clear cut is as high as the road, how is it going to drain? You designed the sidewalk to be wavy? That doesn't seem to be ASD compliant. You had a clean slate to work with, so why wouldn't you make sure the sidewalk is level? It looks like a drunk person laid it. Does the city or the contractor not own or know how to use a transit level? If you did things proper and correctly, people like me wouldn't criticize. Go look at the sidewalk and tell me that is proper building code. I don't see why this took so long to complete? The sidewalk is not level, no signs were replaced, you only fixed a short section of road, asphalt takes less time than cement. No landscaping was installed, no street lights. You want me to say something positive? How when nothing was done positively? Do your job that taxpayer dollars are paying for, and I will say great job. But when you defend contractors' shoddy work, you will get grief. Have a nice day.
