The sign replacement inquired about is not included in the scope of this project. New tree plantings and other general restoration is to be completed in the spring of 2024 as weather permits. The sidewalk installation and right of way grade is built per design; though some of the sidewalk will be replaced at the contractor expense in the spring of 2024 due to not meeting quality standards. The removed trees within the right of way addressed in your message was done so for multiple reasons; which include but are not limited to safe sight distance, overall safety of pedestrian traffic within a low light condition area, re-establishing positive drainage within the area that services Maple Lane Road itself, trash and debris build up and removal, removal of dead and hazardous free falling trees within the travel lanes of Maple Lane Road, etc..
