Description
Street has multiple decommissioned posts that are placed in the middle of the sidewalk. The city needs to look into getting these removed since it makes the sidewalk not ada compliant and forces pedestrians into the busy street.
I personally had to witness a man in a wheelchair have to get off the sidewalk and go into the busy street into traffic because of these posts with nothing attached to them makes it impossible to use the sidewalk

These are part of the Duke Energy utility expansion. We have asked Duke to review the poles. The City of St. Pete is not authorized to service downlines, Trees in the powerline, or any 3rd party utility equipment. They are the responsibility of the utility company that owns that equipment. Damaged or otherwise compromised utility equipment is their liability, and they should be notified directly.
