Area in question has vegetation encroaching street past curb line

Please note that area is a county maintained area (across the street from address 6367 5th Ave S) that is abutting private property and goes over a city street. The county maintains the vegetation on their area and the private property owner is to maintain theirs
This issue that we are sending to the city is to see if the city will assist by removing the vegetation along the brick street that has overtaken the curb

This area is maintained by the county. Vegetation in the roadway is caused by the area not being edged then mowed and just like private residence it would be the abutting property owners responsibility Per Stormwater Manager.

We have assigned this to Transportation to coordinate with Pinellas County to address the overgrowth edging. Thank you

This is the 2nd request on this issue which went nowhere after “coordinating with the County”. Please follow through.

Hi, I see progress here but they stopped at the Brazilian Pepper tree you can see which is a few feet into the road. Are they done, whoever they are doing the work; the county maybe?

Thanks for recognizing progress on this. City staff is continuing to work with Pinellas County staff to resolve the issue.
