Description

The date is September 14, 2023.

All street lights are out on the Huron Parkway bridge over the river. Also, all the street lights are out on the Huron Parkway all the way from E Huron River Drive north to Fuller Road.

There is no construction in this area.

All street lights are also out on Fuller Road from the Huron Parkway west to Fuller Court. This includes all of the street lights on the crosswalk across from Huron High School near the entrance to Gallup Park where a student was killed a few years ago. None of the street lights or crossing lights are working at this crosswalk.

All of these Huron Parkway street lights from Fuller Road to E Huron River Drive were also out for several months in January 2023, with repeated requests for them to be fixed.

Questions: Why does this keep happening? Why do these street lights on the Huron Parkway keep going out in this section of roadway in Ann Arbor? Why are they not being permanently fixed?

Once again, there is no construction in this area of the Huron Parkway.

This constitutes probably 40 - 50 street lights that are out in total.

I hope that all of these street lights that are out can be fixed permanently. Thank you.
