Description
Stormwater collects on roadway intersection of 30th Ave N and 59th St N. Southwest and southeast corners. Especially southwest.
During heavy rains, much more water collects than is shown in photos. I'm the homeowner at reported address.
Can 2 storm drains be installed? There are 2 existing drains 200 ft away at interaction of 29th Ave N and 59th St N.
Please let me know if there's a more appropriate communication channel for this request Thank you.

Mike-thanks so much for reporting this to us. Our Pavement Maintenance Team will evaluate the curb and road surface at this intersection and repair any depressions, potholes, or other surface deformations that may be holding runoff. The installation of new stormwater assets-catch basins, grate inlets, subsurface lines, etc.-is a very involved process and beyond the scope of the services the Stormwater, Pavement, and Traffic Operations Department provides. The City's Stormwater Master Plan is currently under revision and may very well address areas such as this where additional stormwater assets may be needed. IN the interim I'll forward this request to my peers in the Engineering and Captial Improvements Department to review and we will move forward with addressing the road surface. Again, thank you for reaching out.
